I’m from Fairmont, WV. That is a loaded statement, because being from West Virginia often means that mountains flow in your veins, family tradition is equal to law, and interdependence is valued more than independence. I leave a lot, but I always come back.
I’d rather be alone than in a room full of strangers. I’m the token girl in many situations. I like my tea sweet and my steak red. I work for a construction company and own 20% of a corporation. I can instantly be distracted by a baby or a puppy. In short, I’m the most unusual and most common girl you know.
